"G'day, my name's Dylan, born and raised on the west coast of Australia. Down at Rottnest today, down at Parker Point.

We've got a little raft up with all the crew. Got a bunch of boats, as you can see. Got a bunch of the floatables out.

Everyone's having a good time, having a couple beers. Summer kicks off tomorrow, and we're starting it off the right way.
Yeah, me and the boys started KICKIN'EM off a couple years back, these floating pontoons, docks, which hang off the back of the boat. If you've got a single outboard, dual outboard, and it's a no-brainer, really.

Makes your boat an extra couple of meters long. Heaps of deck space to chill out, have a couple beers on, enjoy the weather that we have today, and best little accessory that you can add to your boat."

"We're at Rottnest here today for the Rugged Reef and Floatables raft up out at Park Point. Name's Zane, owner of Outer Reef Auto Electrics.
We're sitting on a 2007 560 Bar Crusher with a new 610.
Yeah, we've got the U Dock, we've got the yoga mat, and we've got the water hammock. Bloody absolutely love them. Been taking them out for quite a while now, and yeah, couldn't fault them one little bit. Nice and hard. You can jump off it, do whatever you want. Beer pong, sick. Oh, you couldn't go without it.

I wouldn't be walking to land and getting wet anymore. Yeah, absolutely love it. Water hammock, U Dock's perfect. All the blokes, all the chicks can sit in it, have a beer, cruise around. Floatables just makes boating a thousand times better. You can do yoga on your mat. You can put your swag on your U Dock.

You can sit in the water hammock, have beers, chill out, have a yarn. It's awesome."

What Is a Floatables Raft Up?

A raft up is when a group of boats anchor together side by side, usually somewhere sheltered, and everyone ties on and hangs out across the group for the day. Rottnest Island — about 18km off Fremantle, WA — is one of the most popular spots in the state for it. Floatables docks get used constantly at these events: as a stable platform between boats, as extra swim/lounge deck space, and as a place to keep kids, gear, and eskies off the boat itself.
